Have Questions?
We are claiming that our iögo 0% has a more natural taste comparing to our previous 0% recipe. The taste is now more natural due to the removal of artificial sweeteners which are often associated with an aftertaste in yogurts.
The answer is yes! The taste of our new iögo 0% is improved, now more natural and without the aftertaste linked to artificial sweeteners! You’ll surely taste the difference!
We are removing the sucralose, a sweetener perceived negatively by consumers in terms of naturality. We are also removing Stevia which is present in some of our SKUs. These sweeteners will be replaced by sugar cane, a natural sugar which adds the perfect sugar touch to our delicious yogurts.
If the store already carries our products, you may ask the manager of the dairy section to order the product you are looking for. If the product is still not on the shelves, contact us and we will gladly help you locate the product in your area.
We use a unique blend of probiotic cultures in our yogurts. Each 100 g portion contains more than 1 billion active probiotic bacteria. Our yogurt contains the patented BB-12 Bifidobacterium Lactis probiotic.
Active bacterial cultures and probiotic cultures are two different ingredients. Active bacterial cultures are an integral part of yogurt production. The bacterial cultures will digest the milk and cream and result in a creamy yogurt. Probiotic cultures have a positive effect on the digestive system and are always included in the ingredients lists of our products.
Several strains used in the production of our yogurts are added after the pasteurization and homogenization processes are completed to ensure they remain live, throughout the life cycle of the product.
To make yogurt, the following active bacterial cultures are required:
-Streptococcus thermophilus
-Lactobacillus bulgaricus
The active bacterial cultures added to milk cause fermentation, which transforms the product to give it a firmer texture and change its taste.
Traditional Greek-style yogurt involves straining yogurt to increase its firmness. Our process concentrates the protein and calcium naturally found in milk and therefore gives the yogurt a thick, smooth texture. Greek-style yogurt has more protein than stirred yogurt.
Our iögo 0% contains 25% less sugar than our regular yogourt, more specifically the 16x100g Strawberry shortcake/Lemon pie/Crème caramel/Mocaccino.
Probiotics are live microorganisms that have a positive effect on gut health when consumed. They are best described as live healthy bacteria that aid in digestion.
Although our facilities are not certified as gluten-free, Iögo products do not contain any ingredients derived from gluten. Products containing gluten are labelled accordingly.

No. Lactose intolerance is caused by a decrease in the body’s production of lactase. Lactase is an enzyme that helps digest lactose, the natural sugar found in milk. The most common symptoms are swelling, cramps and diarrhea. A dairy allergy is an immunological reaction to casein, the protein found in milk.
In addition to being a source of dietary energy, protein has several essential roles, including the creation and maintenance of muscle mass. It has been clearly demonstrated that our resting metabolic rate, or energy expenditure at rest, is related to muscle mass*. It is therefore important to maintain muscle.

All iögo products are made from milk that is fortified with vitamin D. iögo 0% and iögo Greek 0% products are made from milk fortified with vitamins A and D.
Calcium helps the formation and maintenance of strong bones and healthy teeth. Vitamin D plays the same role, while also improving the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.
Freezing does not affect the nutritional value of yogurt, but the texture will be greatly affected. Except for Iögo nanö tubes, which are specially formulated to resist freezing, we do not recommend that you freeze yogurt.
Yogurt is a perishable item. Therefore, this date is required to advise consumers of the product’s shelf life. The date indicates the end of the period during which the product retains its full flavour and nutritional value when kept at a temperature between 1°C and 4°C. It is not recommended to consume dairy products after their expiry date.
The most important factor in retaining the quality of the yogurt is temperature control. Yogurt should be stored at a temperature between 1°C and 4°C. Place yogurt in the refrigerator immediately as short periods of time at room temperature can cause off flavours and spoilage earlier than the ‘’best before’’ date. Moreover, as yogurt is sensitive to odours, store it away from strong-smelling food.
All of the Iögo yogurts are Kosher certified (COR) by the Kashruth Council of Canada.
The only animal by-products used in our products are milk, cream, milk powder and milk proteins. All of our yogurts are gelatin-free.
iÖGO uses only 100% Canadian milk in the production of its products. The symbol is a seal of origin that guarantees the dairy products you’re buying are made entirely from 100% Canadian milk or milk ingredients.
No! In Canada, the use of growth hormones is prohibited for dairy cows, and antibiotic use must comply with Canadian law. In addition, milk is tested at the plant for antibiotics. If antibiotics were found in the milk, it would be discarded.
